BAK INTENSIVE

Course Title:	Instrument Rating Course - IREX LONG
Duration:	6 weeks with two sessions per week, each of three hours.
Prerequisite Skills:	Must have passed the Basic Aeronuatical Knowledge (BAK)and the Private Pilot Licence exam (PPL) – CPL subject passes are even more desirable. Please note that without the PPL at the very least you will have considerable difficulty with some components of this demanding course.
Next Course Starts:	SEPTEMBER 09 - IREX courses fill up quickly and are very popular.
Price:	The course costs $800.00 and is delivered in our Bankstown Airport classroom by experienced teachers who are fully qualified pilots and who hold a current instrument rating. Our course presenters all have either past experience as flight instructors, or are currently instructing at Bankstown Airport.

We will provide you with text books and exam questions as well as lecture notes each lesson. We will also provide you with a binder for these notes.

However, you will need to obtain your own documentation, namely:

ERSA
AIP (or a Jeppesen chart set)
DAPS East and West (or a Jeppesen chart set)
Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR’s)
En Route Charts Low 1-8
Terminal Area Charts 1-5
PCA chart.
Manual of Aviation Meteorology
Aircraft Human Performance Limitations - Wilson

You do not need to bring the Civil Aviation Orders – we will advise you which sections are required and these can be downloaded from the Internet.
Students of Concept Aviation College may obtain documentation and charts at a 10% discount for the duration of their course from our Pilot Shop at Bankstown Airport, Concept Aviation Supplies.

We will do our absolute best to deliver a professional course that gets you the result you need – mind you, you have to do some homework!!
